Things to do in Rhodes in October – 2-week itinerary with activities and sights

You are planning your Rhodes holiday and looking for inspiration. Here you can see how we did it. Our plan for two weeks in October combines beach days, cultural highlights and varied excursions. If you have not yet booked accommodation or flights, read our guide first: Booking a Rhodes holiday.

In October Rhodes is still warm enough for beach days, especially at the start of your holiday. Later the weather becomes milder, which makes it ideal for trips and culture. That is why we built our plan so that we first spend plenty of time by the sea and then explore the highlights inland.

Conclusion and Flex Options for Rhodes in October

Even with good planning, things do not always go as expected on holiday. The only activity we booked in advance was the boat trip to Symi*. All other days remain flexible. We made sure to include the most important excursions and sights. If we still have time or want to add something new, we keep this list of extra options in mind:

  • Kritinia Castle with panoramic views
  • Faliraki Waterpark (open until October 24)
  • Valley of the Butterflies
  • Sunset cruise from Rhodes Town

This way the plan stays realistic while leaving room for spontaneous experiences. That is exactly what makes a Rhodes holiday in October so appealing to us: sun, sea, culture and the freedom to discover something new.
