What makes the architecture of the Museum of the Future so unique?
Even from the outside, the Museum is a true spectacle. Located right along Sheikh Zayed Road, the oval-shaped building instantly catches your eye with its glowing Arabic calligraphy. These illuminated letters are not just decorative – they also serve as windows, making the futuristic design truly one of a kind.
The Entrance Hall
As soon as you enter, you’re greeted by a bright and spacious entrance hall. Here too, the glowing calligraphy runs through the entire design. The modern architecture creates a special atmosphere right from the start. From this point, your journey into the exhibition begins.
Good to know: You can leave your backpack and other belongings at the cloakroom located in the entrance hall.

How does the Museum of the Future exhibition begin?
The experience begins with an impressive space travel simulation. You board what looks like a space capsule, surrounded by screens on the floor, ceiling, and walls. You’ll see Dubai during lift-off and watch as you dock in orbit. Technically, it’s just an elevator – but the immersive presentation makes it feel very real.
Once the doors open, you step into the main exhibition area. Here, you’ll explore themes such as space exploration, AI, robotics, medicine, and sustainability. The exhibits combine advanced technology with imagination and are presented in a creative and engaging way.

What can you expect from the interactive zones?
We were especially impressed by the interactive areas. You can apply for a space mission or immerse yourself in sound and light installations. In some rooms, you can even lie down and fully absorb the environment.
It’s not just about technology – many elements are designed to spark vision, emotion, and self-awareness. The exhibition spans several floors, which you can access by stairs or elevators. You explore the museum step by step at your own pace.
